a Spring welling up in me daily
I cannot see how the rocks of my soul are slowly softening
wearing away beneath the work of his Holy Rush and Flow
but yearly as the Waters run
my hard heart is changed
and I can map the alterations in my course
and so the future is bright
may my river bed be eventually a way made straight for the Lord
may I never dig my own cisterns
but may I pant for the Holy Water
the Gift that is also the Giver
and may my Spring of Water be also a deposit
guaranteeing hope to come
"Jesus said to her, 'Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirst forever. The water that I will give him will beocme in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.'" John 4:13-14
