Well, we are officially going to be in Memphis for four more years. Thank you to everyone for the prayers and encouragement as we went to interviews and waited to find out where we would be. We are so thankful that we get to stay here where we have met so many wonderful friends and where we are so close to our families (and William's grandparents!). We have grown to love Memphis over the last four years. So many endearing qualities. For instance, you can take any piece of furniture out to the curb (even an old sink) and it will be gone in 30 minutes. And sometimes, in the morning, all of Memphis smells like old fried chicken (what is that)? Seriously, we really do love this city. We are looking forward to see how God works in our church and in the city, and we are thankful that He is allowing us to be a part of it for four more years.

Congratulations Emily! I am so excited for you. I am thankful that you, Hunter and William will not be that far away. I wish Parker and I could have been there to celebrate at the Rendezvous with everyone however, we were celebrating in Jackson. I love all the pictures. Hope you have a great weekend!
