We're still here. We finally got internet at the new house 2 days ago, and we are getting settled. I worked all last week and I am now basking in the glory of finally being off for "Christmas" break. I just wanted to send out a quick post to say Merry Christmas a few days late and Happy New Year a few days early. Though the holidays have been chaotic and stressful to say the least, we know that we find our true rest in Jesus Christ. He came to earth as a humble and helpless child, in human flesh, to live perfectly and die sacrificially for us. As the new year approaches, I hope to again be reminded of how He makes all things new, even me. And, by His grace, he preserves me despite my distracted and unfaithful heart. I hope this year brings you all great newness and restoration in Him.
Our only family shot from Christmas Day...I had just worked about 13 hours
and William kind of has a mullet from the haircut I gave him, but the fact that we
took a picture was a serious success for us that day.

This is what most of our pics from the holidays are like..stillness is not one of William's talents
From a few weeks ago, but I just thought I would include it...
I love these two!
