The ladies in my church have a crochet group. We meet every other week to work on our crochet projects, eat good food (thanks to Mr. Wilson), and socialize. We bring our kids, too, so the boys usually also have a game or guitar hero night. Last year, we mostly made hats to give to Church without Doors, a homeless ministry. Due to some serious hat making burnout, we are making projects for the Cooper-Young Festival this year. The festival is in September, so we should have plenty of time to build up a stash to sell. Here is my first Cooper Young project. The only problem is that I really like it, so I might have to keep it and make another for the festival. I'm going to try to post my projects here, and hopefully encourage people to come on over to Midtown Memphis in September! What do you think?
P.S. Don't worry, those of you who like to click on the picture and see the really big version, my ears are clean...I checked.

oh my gosh! So cute! You are going to have to teach me how. I'm almost done with my sister's bag (the granny square one in the book)-just have to finish the strap and put in the lining.
oh, that is so cute! I am impressed, and I want one!
I really love this!! I hope you'll share your pattern :) By the way if that whole doctor things doesn't work out...you could totally be a model!
